Looking for a software to protect my PC from virus and trojan attacks. Are there any reommended ones?

Oh and yes I am running FC3

I am not sure you need a virus protection on Linux. However if you want additional protection check out http://www.bitdefender.com/PRODUCT-6...x-Edition.html

Well there is a free one called ClamAV.

Maybe you should take a look.

I use Norton Internet Security, it works well so far until I just got a virus today and I need to figure out how to resolve it..

I like BitDefender Linux version and I like AVG Free Linux version. I've got also F-Prot, AntiVir and ClamAV but using all to see if i got a Virus on my Windows Partition (every AV detects other viruses) using an on demand scan (every few months). I got good ratings with BitDefender and AVG Free, and some false positivs using AntiVir.

You don't need AV on Linux systems unless you have a windows partition you want to check.

clam av is a good antivirus. Also you can run rootkit hunter if you want to.

^ I agree with you AVG anti virus the free one is good enough to protect you in any viruses. As long as you take care your computer and update your anti virus regularly.
