I really think the Ps3 is the best choice. I have tried the Wii and it was way over sensitive and really gimmicky. The graphics don't help it.

Tell me this... did you play Wii Sports? If so, the controls do suck.... I own one and let me tell you that there (and will be) many games out there that aren't "glitchy". (I.E. Red Steel) Game systems will be glitchy at first. I can tell you about people who have a PS3 that aren't impressed.... like for instance, that you don't see the HD-quality that they were supposed to be boasting because of their blue-ray discs. I've played one, and their graphics don't look any different from the PS2... I believe I would rather take originality, inovativeness, aesthetics, and and overall cheaper system than the PS3. i played the wii sports for about 5 hours straight. the graphics are not good at all but the playability is amazing. i guess there are some glitches but when your playing with your friends its fun.

That's exactly what I'm talking about.... people believe the more realistic, the better... I think the more you actually "play the game" the better... that's where the Wii comes in....

i only played the wii once, after 15mins i got bored. I think the ps3 is much better!

oooooo I sooooo need one of these for my office, Zelda looks absolutely amazing However I'm not sure how I would afford the 62" plasma wall screen and 12.5 surround sound system to accompany it lol....

Seriously if anyone would like to give me their WII for free (thats WII not wee) then please feel free I would much appreciate it...

Is it going to be another console with very little games??? to show for years??? or what... anyone got a link to a list of upcoming ones?

badtony and NextWarrenBuffett, at least give some legit reason why you don't like it. I mean at least I could give reasons why I don't. The PS3 is crap, you pay way too much for a technology that will probably die out very soon, Blue-Ray. Let me tell you a little story about 2 competing technologies....

Now there were 2 forms of it. They both held video/audio recording volumes which were released. One had a lot better storage, but usually crapped out a LOT faster. While the other, it may have held a little less than the other but could be produced cheaper and had a LOT longer life span....
of course the volume with cheaper price one, because it could be produced on a world-wide scale and therefore won....

Have you guessed who it is yet? This is the story of Betamax vs. VHS.... and guess who won... VHS. Now, this is exactly the same story of Blue-Ray vs. HD-DVD. Not only is it the same story, HD-DVD also has a LOT friendlier name than Blue-Ray. What I mean by that is, everybody already knows what DVD is, and before that you just add High Definition... and you got HD-DVD. So, I believe that more people will buy that anyway... which will make the PS3 useless one of these days.... The End

I like the wii's controllers and its fun party games, but I think right now there are two distinct types of gameplay, the wii and gamecube are one type and the other playstations and xboxes the other. I perfer the playstation with its faults that sony better fix in the upcoming firmware releases. I perfer playstation, with its graphics and more indepth games like rockstar games
