I want to post the traditional birthday song on my website, as part of the intro, but I heard that there might be some copyright issues. Does someone actually own the friggin birthday song? How pathetic is that...anyways I did find another song called glad you were born today that I might be able to use, it is cool, but I can't believe that I would have to pay for the birthday song.

Go ahead and use it as long as you are cooperative with them if you recieve a cease and disist letter there wont be any problems, your not making a profit off of the song itself so i think you will be fine
