The best "free" FTP

I need an FTP client/program, but I'm not willing to spend money on it... I know they exist, but where can I find one? Can someone recommend one please?

The main thing I want is an easy instalation to run it. I tried one once at just couldn't get it to work. That's pretty much my main problem.

Any advice/help is appreciated.

I would recommend Smart_FTP too, it easy to use. If you want something more complex amybe WS_FTP would be nice too.

They are not all free, just free to use with annoying advertising to buy the full product.

Oh yeah have it been mentioned about Windows IE?
Just type ftp://something.com and you will get to your FTP site!!
Doesn't work for Firefox and its slow on IE but its another option.

That is only a trail for a paid program. I would also suggest Smart FTP, which is probably the second best after Cuteftp (which has a trail, but you have to pay after that). Its completely free, and you can do most of the main things you need to do with an ftp program.

I would suggest you FileZilla, 100% Free and very good!
