haha! Wow, I didn't know there were so many metal fans on these forums! I've been a big fan of metal since 1994. My favorite metal band is Sepultura (the Max Cavalera days)/Soulfly. I just love Max's 'grunting,' screaming vocals. And, for some reason, no matter how many awesome new metal bands (thrash, death, power, etc.) I hear, they just can't seem to top Max and his vocals.

Although, I must say, I've recently started listening to Meshuggah and I think they're great too. ALMOST up to the caliber of Max Cavalera. But still, that's saying a lot because I'm VERY discriminating with my heavy metal.

Oh, and I also like listening to hip-hop/pop because I -LOVE- going out dancing with friends. Ironic, I know, but I can dance for hours on end (and pretty decently, too!). hehe

Yeah, Satriani is a very good instrumental rock artist.

I like a HUGE variety of music. I'm a big fan of alternative rock bands like Radiohead. I also like classic rock (The Beatles) and progressive rock (King Crimson, Pink Floyd). I don't like very much metal, but Iron Maiden is a great band. I also like listening to soundtracks from anime, video games, and movies, along with some classical music. I also have a softspot for Japanese music, especially J-Pop and J-Rock.
