no kidding. i started with hand-coding basic html sites, never even heard of wysiwyg at that point. anyway, i hand-coded some decent looking sites for an eight year old, and found Netscape Composer at age 9. that was my first wysiwyg editor. then at 12 years (i had a period when i stopped), i became interested in templating on a community volunteer forum, so i started to try to use layouts, of course, this was before i could do anything with photoshop, so i mainly used netscape, and dreamweaver (when my dad brought his laptop home). i began the whole layout scene by attempting to use tables at first. that didn't work very well, however i DID build a pretty convincing clan website for a friend of mine. the problem with it was that i used netscape, so the colors were crappy, it was REALLY bright, like, all yellows or something. I started forum templating around 13, and was better at that than i was with regular site templating. then, about 4 days ago, i came across some incredible photoshop web layout tutorials, and learned how to slice (before now, i knew how to slice, but i did it all by hand, using the tables method to put the content together). so now i'm honing my graphical skills, but it's been a good 6 years since the beginning, and going on 7. you know i miss making websites with simpletext...
