lol... the webhost i was with lost all data in a fire and now more servers :P
i couldn t log on my site so i thought to visit the homepage of my webhost what a surprise hehehe...
look at this :

The data center which housed the {[cenored]} server 
is no longer operating at this time
due to a fire at that center. We will be purchasing a new 
server and relocating it
within the next 1-2 weeks if possible

We are still working on moving this site and email accounts 
so your inquiries can be answered
...bla blablabalblabala...to cut it short ........... 
We have lost all data and hardware at this location........

Fun... my first site and my first webhost went on fire.

Oh my gosh... a fire? Don't those that are housed at datacenters have fire preventation measures?
Where is this? under his basement? and his house caught fire?

Thats the strangest thing I have read so far.
If there was a fire, I suspect to see more websites than just yours going down. ( As more hosts will be affected.. .)

And he placed a Google Adsense ad on his page

Oh dear... but this is really the first time I heard of this though...
I was actually expecting something like, "my server was blown away in the Hurricane and all is lost"

Now its "The server is a pile of molten mash and your data is lost, thank you for joining"

Yeah the adsense thing is funny...
but i think there is some other host affected ..
all the websites on that host are gone... many has lost a lot of work...
but now the host set up a small forum where we can request the reinstatment of our accounts on some temporary server...

I have a backup of my site. :P
And my site sucks no one visits it.... so it didn t matter untill i discovered today that i m in the top 5 in 3 keywords on msn search engine ...

The host resolved the situation they gave us our account back and i uploaded my site but still waiting for my domain registrar to update the new nameservers..they are damn slow...
