Anyone trying the beta for Windows Vista (formerly Windows code name "Longhorn"). A friend told me it was gigs in size and the interface looks almost the same as any xp system. Seems microsoft is not worried about the whopping size widows o/s takes on a hard drive.

hmm... I wasn't aware they were allowing testers for the beta... guess I'm just slow. And what does gigs me? 2 gigs? 40 gigs?

I've heard that the interface it going to look much much different than xp's - transparency, effects, better icons, better search, etc.
