There's a rumour going around that google may enter the domain registrar and hosting business. I think I would like my site on one of google servers because it would probably get spidered more often..Time will tell I guess.

I don't think they would be a bad host they already have a superior network backbone. Google could probably acquire some of the most premier hosting companies and use it's immediate equity as a baseline. Alternatively, Google could simply buy up or convert plenty of customers from smaller hosts with marketing schemes such as gmail. It may work for them. humm where did you first read this?

I haven't heard of this, but it sounds interesting. I think Google would be successful as a domain registration and hosting company, seeing as it's so ridiculously popular.

I actually heard of these rumors and I think it would be an excellent idea for Google to do something like this. They already have an excellent reputation and excellent servers... Perhaps they may do a promotion that will make it so they will optimize your websites first... or some thing like that. That would be really neat!

I heard about this too. It would be a nice addition to google but I don't think it's happening anytime soon.

Sounds just like a rumor to me, but knowing google, who knows, maybe it'll be released in a year or two.

There's a lot of rumors going around about google right now. I can't say I've heard the hosting one, but I did hear that they might be turning out their own operating system for computers (such as mac or windows).

I don't know, Google just seems to be growing bigger by the day.

I know exactly what you mean by this... next they'll reveal their menecing plot to take over the world. (I wouldn't be surprised)
