Hey everyone, first off would like to wish everyone a happy new year - and wish prosperity among everyone

My name is Del from NY and will be working on new projects this year. I'm a graphic designer, turned web designer, turning to a webmaster, and i must say i'm extremely wet behind the ears when it comes to all this. I really hope i can receive the help i seek being on this site, and hopefully can incorporate some of you guys ( and ladies) in my future projects.

My first project this year is to start making money by driving traffic. i have a working understanding of how this works, but definitely do not know the dynamics of this. I have a client who owns a cash advance site, and what i need is to drive traffic, and to be able to keep track of the people who sign up and qualify for this service.
I know it most probably has to do with php, which i'm not too familiar with, and i'm not expecting anyone to draw it out for me, but some guidance would be greatly appreciated.
