Default HTML coding

Say i wanted to set up a html coding help website. How would i have the html coding appear as it would be written not as it would appear when made into a webpage?. i have tried </html> and </body>. Would i then have to the website in a different coding say cmd?.
Would that work.
Please help or suggest me any web site design company site which provide some Articles and tutorial related to this topic.

Have a look at w3schools and see how they do it:

W3Schools Online Web Tutorials

You should place CODE elements between <code> tags.

and replace the less than and greater than symbols (angle brackets) with the HTML Codes:

&lt;code&gt;

If you want to see the tags in a web page you need to code using special entities such as [&lt; for <, &gt; for >]
If you want to see
<html><head></head><body><h1>Hello, Jay</h1></body></html>

you should type in:
&lt;html&gt;&lt;head&gt;&lt;/head&gt;&lt;body&gt;&lt;h1&gt;Hello, Jay&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;/body&gt;&lt;/html&gt;

Hey Buddy

If u feels any diffcult in HTML coding then get a software name MS-FRONT PAGE. Its just like MS-WORD. First you do wht you want then see its coding in this software. You can lean HTML without any affort.
