Hi

I've created some pop up windows on my wedding website and I would like to put a "close window" button on there, i'm assuming that I would use JavaScript for that but I can't find a script anywhere.

Any help would be appreciated.

i dont know where to put my query so i am asking here.l wanted to know which is better for development of websites, HTML or JSP. Some says HTML is good but other says JSP is new with a better future, can u guide me. thnx

XHTML is best, and some older browsers don't suppost JSP but they do support HTML; XHTML can be read as html but not the other way around, and therefore XHTML is the best in my opinion; also, they want to phase out HTML

HTML isn't really a website development language, you can only really code layouts and suchlike with it. You would need a PHP, ASP or Java-based backend to actually make the website more interactive and provide some functionality. Otherwise the website would have to be a more informative rather than interactive one.

Very true. The best of those is probably PHP or ASP, probably best PHP, because JSP is more like flash; It's just not really made for coding websites, if you know what I mean. And PHP outputs HTML too, so all browsers can read it. If you know javascript or actionscript, then PHP should come on easy. If you know applescript or DOS, then ASP would come on easier.
