Default In a bit of a layout dilemma.

Ok, I've just made a new layout for my website. I sliced it all up and saved for the web in Photoshop then put it in DreamWeaver. The problem is; for the places where I need/want to type and edit; they're all images! Is there a way I could be able to get other images and text on it though?

Thanks.

hi,

there are some ways to solve this. first you can click the silce in photoshop where you want to have text and choose the option no image. when you export it, there you can put the text there. another solution is to delete the pictures (they are maybe white or you background color), but than you have to fix the table with an additional table row, where you put some transparent images with a height of 1 pixel (on the top or bottom) i hope this was usefull.

Another way to do this, is name the slices you need, and then when exported, deleted the slices you do not need. Then you can construct a table, and set the backgrounds of cells. In order to repeat sides of your page to stretch whenever you need them to, just add "background-repeat:repeat..." (On the dots goes the dimension, x, y, all or none) to the css of your site. For example look at the website pisimopsantee.com
Hope I helped you a bit!
