html in file name

lam using Dreamweaver 8 and want to name the pages so that they don't end in .html
how do i do this?

I dont think thats possible seeing how a server reads the file by its file name so if it wasnt labled as name.html it wouldnt be read as HTML....

you could also give a page the extension .htm , but I suppose that is not what you wanted I suppose that you want the extension to be .php or something, so select that from the dropdown menu after selecting "save as"

You have to name the pages .htm or .html unless you're using other coding languages, such as Perl.
