When I save my web page and then view my web site the links on some of my pages show up with % after each word. Can someone tell me so I can modify my pages?
ex:
car%trouble%tips.htm

are you putting a space between them, when you are saving?

The URL can't have any spaces in it so maybe the host is just filling the gap?

What's the webpage url so we can all have a look?

Thanks - It's fixed now. I just renamed the file and link url replacing the space with an underscore.

Which is better to use a hyphen or underscore? Does it matter what pages are named when search engines index them?

the words you use to name them are best to be keywords.

i.e. a website about flying planes ;- www.flyplanes.com/learntofly.htm www.flyplanes.com/flyinglessons.htm www.flyplanes.com/become-a-pilot.htm

So that they rank better. those website names were ficticious.
