The story of deer jumping down the valley
An old deer and a little deer were chased by a fiece cheetah to a valley,which was so wide that beyond deer's reach.However,the old deer didn't even hesitate to jump down,resulting in that the old deer jumped down between the two valleys.And when the old deer was about to jump to the bottom,the little deer jumped on his back,of which on the base,the little deer realized the second jump...
The old deer sacrificed,but the little deer jumped to the other side,and existed!
If,the old one chose to stay,there was no doubt that he and his little deer would become loots of the fiece cheetah.At the key point, the old deer chose to be a board for bouncing.
Combining the two lives as a purpose,is aimed to giving their lives more chances.
The children in slums
25 years ago,a university professor teaching sociology used to have his students to go to the slums in Baltimore,investigating the growing background and environment of 200 boys there.He taught them to make an assessment about the boys' futures,which every student concluded is ---"He has no future."
25 years later,another professor happened to find this investigation,and then he let his students to make further study,checking how were the situations of those boys.By research,it turned out that besides the 20 of them died or moved away,176 of the rest 180 boys were brilliant and achieved a lot,of which were lawyers,doctors,businessmen and so on.
The professor was so amazed that he decided to make a further study.He made a report for the youngsters having been assessed,and asked them the same question:"What the biggest reason for your success today?"
They mentioned spontaneously that because I met a good teacher!"
The mentioned teacher was still alive at that moment.Although she was old,she had good hearing and eyesight.Then the professor found her and asked what recipe she had to make these children in slums to grow up into talents.
The old grandma's eyes filled with sparkling lights,she answered with a smile that actually there was nothing but my love for the children."
After Kazuo Inamori established his own business from a tech-engineer,without any experience of managing,in the procedure of china,he just stuck to some basic principles his parents,teachers in kindergarten told in his youth,such as not lying,being a person of integrity,not making troubles to others,not thinking about his own personal interests ,etc.It was these simple and plain beliefs that made him gain the achievement later.
The resource of driving an enterprise to go around is mainly human beings,so the aimed subject company's culture should focus on should be human beings,not the interests of company, not the extort for the staff,or the extort for the society.
Realize the motives of establishing your company
Motive is the beginning,is the arousal of mind,is the certain moment of thinking.
Which motive or original intention your establishment of company is based is the most basic stucture elementss of the company'culture.What's more,it is also the belief of enterpriser,which will be reflected on the operation of the whole company,leading the whole behaviours of the company.
Generally speaking,our motives can only be divided into two,one is based on fear,the other is based on love.
I've already told before that if one establishes his enterprise just for his own needs,for fame, for honor,or others,in a word,if he is just for himself,and self-centered,all he does is based on fear,which cannot last long,nor forever.Besides, in the process,both the enterprisers and staff will be especially hard,and no real trust will bring about,let alon the mutual development.The relationship between enterpriser and his staff is just a kind of trade relationship, utilize each other.
Unfortunately,what we're sure of is that most of the enterprises in society are eastablished based on fear,and both the bosses and staff live and work in the atmosphere of fear.As a result,the average life span is only 3--5years.Even if one is out of the extension of average lifespan,it's also very hard to realize its development.
If your motive of establishing your company is based on love,based on principle,what things will you do ?
You must be respective to our earth,protecting our homeland,doing things good for environment.
You will also make every effort to improve the efficiency of society,decrease the expenses of it,push the society to develop positively.
You certainly won't do harm to the products of physical and mental health.
You certainly will help the staff grow up and develop with your unconditional love,building a kind of joyful atmosphere.
Surely,you cannot forget your suppliers and other interest stake holders of every aspect,because only when you establish a harmonious and win-to-win relationship with them,can you maintain the long-lasting development of company.
When you regard love as company's core value,what will happen?
First of all,you will have a strong sense of social justice and responsibility,and such a sense will be reflected by your company.
You'll attract the genuinely excellent people of society to your side,and help you to achieve the mission.
You'll own a team for belief to strike,not just being together for one thing.And this team will creat all you believe that can bring miracle.
Your team will win the respect of society,enjoy the prosperous return,which is meant for those who have made marvelous contribution.
Under your lead,the team will grow up rapidly,and realize mutual dream finally.
Brilliant people is who believes first and sees after,and only we see the future,can we really understand what our motive today means.
Only based on unconditional love,can we establish a team of harmony,high-effeciency,responsibility and win-to-win,can we establish first class culture.And then the company will develop constantly,healthily,and rapidly.
Therefore,the enterpriser himself is the soul of his company,the beginning point of everything.
Find the correct people and trust them.
Talents aren't trained but sought.This is the basic concept shentop treats talents.Only we find the correct people ,can we do the right things.We have no idea about changing anyone,except that the person is willing to change himself.
So,if we want to establish culture full of love and first class high-efficiency,we must find those whose hearts are purer,and more willing to learn and to believe.For the ones relatively simple,since they themselves are jade,which is just buried under the soil,so no one can be found but themselves.However,discovering them mainly depends on the values of enterpriser,since a diamond can only appeal to the fish loving diamonds.
Correct people with correct things.Shentop has been always seeking for the right people and giving trainings to them.And if we feel unfit,we will choose to give up,telling them honestly the reasons of being fired,telling them what aspects need improving,and helping them see their own blind points through the experience so that they won't commit the same mistakes from then on.
So,it's very important to find the right people,mainly the ones fit for the values,even though the ability of them aren't good enough.Shentop recruits staff not by certificate mainly.It is ok if the interviewee is of HND or more.We just concentrate on the merits of this person,since the abilities of the general university students graduating not too long are weak.
Besides finding the right people, we also need to train them with the whole heart,helping them grow up.We will use long length of article to share the training system of Shentop after,so we don't talk about it now temporarily.
Treat your own staff as your own child
Do you love your child? Do you trust your own child? Will you try every effort to let your child grow up healthily?Will you do what you can to realize your child's dream?Will you eager for return for your sacrifices to your child?
Have you ever thought of treating your staff as your own child?
Maybe someone will ask that why you do this,it isn't enough that I give them my salary,buy social insurance for them,and provide them with annual vacation,commission and such welfare?
Certainly good enough,but,when we attract staff to do things for us just with money,staff come just for money,and he will also leave for money.Because the relationship between enterprise and staff is based on
fear,which means that both of them are doing things for fear,so,without trust,without mutual dreams and prospects,they will certainly have no loyalty---the staff are only loyal to interests,just as the enterpriser only hopes to earn interest by staff.
