It seems Adsense banned Webs.com - Webmaster Forums - Webmaster forum for HTML, PHP, ASP, CSS and more

Across internet it is noticed that all webs.com subdomains display blank areas at the place of ads..since then no official reply has been seen but people think google has banned Webs.com for adsense!!
What do you think?
If so,will webs.com suffer great loss??

I can see they are still indexed in Google. Have you seen some of the examples your self?
However this is very possible. Few days back Google banned co.cc and removed them from their index all together.

Well, it is quite possible, it would be really a great loss for webs users. Thankfully I am not.

They can get unbanned from Google, with a good appeal. But It depends on there ogranic traffic, If it would affect them.

Google started to hate free hosting service providers. As many of the scammers can easily make a lot of low quality sites on them without paying any domain/hosting fees.

Absolutely they get all the earnings from ads on their free package, the users don´t get a penny of it.

But how big a loss I don´t know, but let´s say they have 10000 free sites. And the ads get clicked 2000 times a day, for which they get 1$ pr. click.(I know it´s properly too high but easier to use.)
That will give them 730000$ in a year.!

And if it´s true what they write on their website, then are there more than 50 million users/blogs.

Then are their earnings a lot higher.!!

As far as banning is concerned,it seems that its not on indexing of pages ...its on adsense ads display (people think)!!
It is strange that no official response is seen from 2 days while bloggers are earning huge hard-earned loss!

well for updates...adsense lifted the ban few weeks ago...then banned and now they have again lifted...so cheers to webs.com users...

But at webs.com,many of the users have left and shifted from webs.com early before the ban was lifted...so loss at their end as well!
