Hello everybody,

I was hoping someone could help steer me in the right direction with regards to certifications. I am looking to self study in web development and was wondering what the better certifications are that I should be looking at. I have googled till I couldn't google anymore, and it seems like everybody's mother and brother has certification testing. The ones that I find come up the most though are CIW, AWP and WOW. If you had to choose, or if you already have, what should I be going for?

I'm not too sure about even bothering with certifications as webdesigners don't even have an association in most contries, nevermind world wide. they're soo unorgainised it's unbeleiveable...
