Have you tried sedo dot com? They have a domain aquisition service. I have never acquired a domain before but I have seen their ads.

Food4Less is now FoodMaxx! there is a web site, the owner of the domain is Dave Erickson email: dae@F4L.COM

He is going to ask a fortune for it because it is a 3 caracter domain, in fact it is worth nothing.

Yah, inquire with Sedo.com. Maybe they'll steer you in the right direction. If you're looking for alternatives, maybe you can find an expired one at www.findeteer.com - Expired Domain Names, Domain Name For Sale, .com, .net, .org, .info, .us.

Good Luck.

I don't know what your budget is, but I'd drop a few hundred on any three letter .com domain instantly.

Then, depending what the three characters in the name were, I might keep bidding.

Query the WHOIS and contact them directly is what I'm thinking. Or use the email posted above.

A Brokerage like Sedo would slobber over the chance to get in the middle of your (maybe 4 or more figures) deal.

If the owner has the site up for sale they should tell you where, and if it's not advertised then that's who needs to get your offer.

If you can get to someone who doesn't realize what it's worth on a domain exchange before they find out, you may get a (nearly literal) steal of a deal!

In either case, you already know what you want, and you already know who has it...
