Default with or without www

How many of you type www.domain .com. now days I mostly try without www. How about you guys? People can use cpanel hosting to deal with it for the purpose. what is your opinion about this ? thank you very much .

I still do for sites I'm not that familiar with but less and less. But then again I'll search and click through from Google most of the time.

I don't use to add www. before the domain name, I think is not needed..

If you're a website owner, do a 301 redirect from non-www to www, or the other way around. It'll help with SEO.

Your website should be with www because it is seo friendly.

I never thought about this, I never type WWW while I hit CTR+enter and it auto fills the w w w.... . com

If you're going to use one method then stick with that method when you're posting comments, links in forums, advertising and so on.

The www should be set in the .htaccess or the apache config.

It also depends on the nameserver settings that you have on the server. The host sets this both with www and without www, or he can set a Cname to the WWW
