I've read about it and I think it's an excellent idea since the ones that like sex-related stuff can easily browse their sites and children won't get affected or redirected wrong when they try to access a .com domain

I think this is a nice thing to have. Since this way you won't just randomly/accidentally stumble across a porn site, because the extension tells you the content of the site. It also makes it easier to build things like parental control.
