I'm pretty sure they discontinued this because people are no longer recieving the coupon codes. I got one and then applied for another one a couple of days ago and haven't gotten it. Oh well, still a good loophole for those who were lucky enough to get it.

There are no such thing as free domains, ppl. Domains cost at least $8-10 to be registered at the ICANN. Therefore they'd lose money if they offered you a domain for nothing.
