.be domains free?

i read somewhere that as of now, .be domains are being offered for free! is that true, can somebody gimme the name of the site where i can register?!

Yes they are free right now, they've been free for quite a while now, so the name you want might be already taken. I don't know a site off the top of my head but many many sites are offering them, so just do a google search and you'll find plenty.

Thnx for the link debiapp. I just want a small domain, not necessarily a .com domain. I will definitely go for a .com domain, some weeks later when i really go live with my site.

Did you know if there are free domain's out there if you're just looking to set up a site as a temporary site? I'm looking for a place to hold my aol sites while I switch over from aol to another provider. Thanks.

Watch out with namebay.com I registered a couple free .be's there and once I started getting hits, they took the domains away from me.

yeah, namebay took my .be's away too. eurodns.com is great and so is freebe.be

I regged ~ 30-35 free .be domains until 31 january

Although they are free I don't see any value in them unlike the .info's had unless you get really lucky and got a top name like soccer.be or bars.be you are pretty much just wasting your time IMO.
