I personally havent had any problems with Godaddy but this stuff is really starting to worry me:

Godaddy.com has taken down an entire data center. Nectartech.com is down right now and it's because godaddy.com suspended the domain name OF THE DATA CENTER. They are telling us it might be as long as TUESDAY before they fix it. Also- many torrent sites have been taken down for no reason. And one domainer says Godaddy stole their domain

Sorry you are experiencing troubles.
I have dozens of domains registered there and I've never experienced any problems.

I used Godaddy when I first started making websites, then I quickly learned that putting money into their marketing program was more important than putting money into their services. Registering domain names there is alright, but you can get the same price other places that provide managing of domain names easier.

I will never ever, in a thousand years, host another website with godaddy. Any host that doesn't offer the ability to host multiple domain names on the same account, or create an unlimited number of email accounts on a domain name is a rip off. You can get hosting for the same price other places, that offer a lot more services. Services that even a novice would utilize - like unlimited imap email accounts.

I have been using godaddy for along-time . I have never come across this sort of problem. Let, me check this godaddy.
