Domain pointed to my PC

Hi,
i would like to buy a domain and have it point to my home pc which is on adsl(i understand this is not for professional stuff just personal).
Though ip is dynamic i think and only changes very occasionally. Though not having a host i have no idea how where to set the dns. Any tips?

I should check my netgear router i remember seeing something about auto update dns.

What is ads? IF you have dynamic ip, you would have to go to no-ip.org I think. Then they should provide you with a free name server which directs to your PC. OR just go get a free nameserver (I think afraid.org) will work
