I remember when I wanted to buy a domain name for the first time in about 12 years. I went to GoDaddy but, whichever way I tried, their registration form would not accept my Greek Phone number.

I e-mailed them about it but they never replied.

So, to cut a long story short, thats why I always buy from name.com who have always been great.

I was under the impression that the 'Baby' package only allows one domain hosting. To get unlimited you have to buy the next package up which is quite expensive at $8 a month. But then someone has to pay for the affiliates program. Thats why you see so many Hostgator ads...people are desperate to get a bit of money back on the overpriced hosting they bought.

So there are several providers which seem to be the best. The reality is that everything is relative. What works best for me and my needs may not be good or best for others. If yours is the best, tell me why. I may not have the best for my needs and may change. A better question may be "Which is the best domain name service provider and why?"

All domains are equal. I have many (50+) .com, .net, .org, .info, .us, etc.

There are many good domain registrars services out there. I have more than 100 domains, but I can't tell you the one I use or it will be self promoting.
