From various sources, the registrars which are good tend to be NameCheap, GoDaddy, and RegisterFly. I believe enom is another good one, but I think currently they aren't allowing any more domain registrations.

In the future, if I were going to purchase a domain name, I'd probably go with NameCheap as I have extremely good things about them.

I'd say Namecheap or Enom because they are both good and give great service and awsome support.

godaddy and namecheap with coupons, but sometimes i use other reg's just to see what's what. Some have very silly marketing follow up, but that's how you learn.

Godaddy is like the mcdonalds golden arches of regging now, over a billion served.I really don't feel my customer service needs get filled that way.

I sometimes use sitehq.com and aplus.net.
