Does Anyone Here Sell Domains?

Does anyone here buy domains just to resale them? And if so, whats your biggest sale? I tried this for a while, but never really made a profit off anything, lol. It seems like it can be lucrative if you get in on trends quickly.

You have to jump on a trend right when it starts. I don't sell them personally. But, I know of people that watch american idol and try to guess who will make the top 12 and they register the domains. This is done while they are still in auditions - way before the hollywood trip.

It's always a gamble to make a profit. Most times you would be lucky to get the reg fee back. However you could be lucky and the name you pick could be a winner!

That's true too. There really is not way to tell which domain name will be profitable. No matter how much of a trend there if for what every the domain name represents. But, the odds are greater if you follow a trend.
