Default remote mysql

Is it possible and if so can someone show me in what direction to go, I was wondering if I could share one mysql database on a server with software on another software ( i.e joomla, nuke, or SMF forums) I currently have 5 websites strewn across multiple servers and wanted to bridge / integrate them all together with the same mysql database information is this possible?

Default Re: remote mysql

If your host allows it, you can.

What control panel are you using? (cPanel, Plesk, Webmin, etc)
