Hi,

Not sure if this the correct forum for this question, however, I am curious to know if anyone can recommend a program/script language/coding... a method of some sort... that can be used to build an interactive website where the user is able to upload photos and modify fields (as in the case of real estate where a realtor may want to add a listing) in an existing database without modifying the base HTMLor adding pages?

I understand there is a product out there that coordinates with Excel but I don't know the name.

Does anyone have any ideas about this? Would asp.net be employed for this purpose?

I am but a novice ... would appreciate any feedback.

ok well to have a dynamic web page, you will need to use one of themany server side scripting languages. You will also need to set up a database, Im a Fan of the MySQL, that would be for the simple data.

I am unfimilliar with uploading Pictures to sites i would assume that would be done in the same manner and its accually on my list of things to learn. But first i would see if you can get your head around a server side language, and see if there is a script available that will suit your needs.

Ah... Thanx much Snapple for giving me direction... will definitely take the time to learn more about MySQL. I imagine that once the database is set up that it should be easy enough to include a field to accept images, but will deffo be looking more into this aspect of things.
