Hi all,
Im new here so be gentle but with any luck I will be a frequent visitor. Hopefully Ill even be able to help sometime!
Anyway down to business... Kinda
Basically I've recently been learning VBA and developing tools to save time for the engineers at work (im an operator currently but its boring me senseless so looking for somekind of promotion basically). Well Ive been getting great comments on my work so far, despite the fact that I am very new to VBA (2 weeks) and struggling to manage some tasks (looping has got me in a bind with a particular project

) , although they may be difficult its hard to judge
Well yesterday one of the engineers approached me about me helping out with the server system at work and data analysis. Naturally I was over the moon despite the fact that I know this work would be during the overtime. I was told that I would be using SQL to program.
I was just wondering how difficult it is (maybe in comparison to VBA?) and if there was anything else I could learn which may help? Im guessing VB might be an idea aswell.
Well thats me folks, any advice welcome. And as I say im not just here to mooch off of all your expertise (much

) I'll pitch in where I can.
Rik
