How to import/export ready databases in Cpanel 11?
Hello guys! The situation is the following - I have some databases on local host and now I am going to upload website to hosting! My friend provided me with some place on his hosting account and now I am going to test a website! Could you please explain how should I act with my ready databases if I have Cpanel 11 installed? I don't wish to rewrite them again and just would like to move them from local host to hosting!

From cpanel, go to your mysql databases and then to phpMyAdmin. phpMyAdmin has a utility to export and import the database in various formats like .sql, .csv and a few more.
First export it in .sql format (if you don't already have a DB backup) and then login to your cPanel and go to phpMyAdmin .. say import and provide the .sql file path and name. That's all.

Oh, I see, I will try to select .sql file extension when saving database file! Actually, I don't remember what file extension I selected at that time.

Re: How to import/export ready databases in Cpanel 11?
With cpanel you should have access to phpmyadmin which will make it extremely simple.
take a backup of the database as it is now, then go to your new cpanel
Just create the DB and user in cpanel, then go to phpmyadmin and click on the db you just created. You should then see links at the top of the screen, click on "import" browse your harddrive for the backup you just made and click "go" that should populate the new db you just made with all the info from the db on the localhost.

If you want to export group of data, I suggest to use a C# data export component Spire.DataExport, I use it for a long time, quit good. Now it provides a free version. You may try it. It supports importing/exporting to XLS, PDF, Word and so on. May help to you.
