I need help making a database site - Webmaster Forums - Webmaster forum for HTML, PHP, ASP, CSS and more

Im no pro at making websites, however ive made some pretty simple ones with no purpose.
Anyway, My dad wants me to make him a website, just a simple one that users can get on to and when they do it has a form they fill out with their information and submit it so it gets stored on a database. But he only wants the administrator to be able to look at them. (its for his company btw)

How can I do this. Help is much appreciated, thanks.

Its really simple.Create a form in HTML and connect it with an asp file in which use database like sql to insert the information submitted in the form to the table with the columns used in the form with proper data types and constraints.

I think the with the help of above definition you can easily create this kind of website if you know about html and asp coding using the database like SQL server 2000.

I would recommend that you read a bit about PHP , it is FREE and works great with MySQL...

the beginning point can be

W3Schools Online Web Tutorials

it is a bit commercial - but you can create a web using database for about 1-2 days and feel very comfortable.

when i want to make something that i cant do, i go to visual basic, vb, active server pages (ASP),java, javscript,c, c++, c__ , vbscript,active server pages, ASP, vbscript,SQL, database, informix, oracle, SQL Server,Perl, CGI,Delphi, PHP,Free source code for the taking.
