What's the best Cpanel Alternative?

I've personally only used Cpanel so far. I'm definitely very happy with it, and it's one of the first thing I look at when buying hosting. But did anyone use a very good control panel that's similar to Cpanel? What did you like most about it?

I do not think there is a good alernative to cpanel.
I have used them all, hsphere, plesk, blah blah blah, they all sux in my honest opinion. None of them hold water to the capablitys that cpanel offers, or the stability either. Granted cpanel is not as pretty looking as some of the others, but cpanel will always be my choice.

cPanel is great, my personal favourite. However the best alternative is, in my opinion, DirectAdmin. It has a huge number of features, is very easy to use and has an excellent default skin. I really like the look and feel of it.

I think cpanel is way faster than other control panels and easier to understand. It's also very easy to manage and allows lot of control and its addon fantastico is great.

I'd pick Hsphere, I think it's the best compared to CPanel.

The Penguinator is a really good alternative. Version 3 is going to be released to the public soon.

It's free and open source, so I guess you can't beat that. I've been using version 2.x for several years, and can't wait for version 3 to come out!

CPanel is good, but it's way too expensive for small companies and for individuals. It also doesn't allow those being hosted as much control as would be nice. It does have a lot of modules though.
