Yeah, you are right Treason, that is what I SHOULD do and the logical decision too.

The GTS was (or is) one of my choices. it's got all you need with DirectX 10 support, DDR3 memory, good clocks speeds and is so much cheaper than the GTX without loosing too much performance. The GTX is also known to require a lot of power form the supply and costs as much as a car to use (-;.
The GTS is a very good card and a very good buy I have to agree, thanks Treason.
BUT, can it go up against a system that uses two cards and have them manage each a part of your screen or use one as a buffer entirely while the other one displays (like pre loading basically) and other possibilities, in theory, that would make the set up pretty much the fastest thing there is now. It's not just gaming (still it is a big part of it but...) photo, film editing and 3D animation could all probably gain from such performances.
I still have to wonder... cause my last time around, I asked myself a thousand questions, shopped around and tested many but still ended up buying the most $$$ one and never had a regret since.
More than ever , I'm eager to learn of users experiences and input about SLI or Crossfire technology.
You are out there, I know it, bring it on.
