My PC p4 1.7 ghz, 512 ram seems to take forever to do anything. always slow. any suggestions on oprtimisations?

get urself at least 1 GB RAM. but if ur running on RDRAM thats goona be expensive.

what budget u got? its better to upgrade form a 1.7 Ghz.

If u dont want to spend money, try virus checking ur PC, defrag the hard disk and uninstall any junk programs.

What OS? try disabling useless srevices from service control

Try toning down the visual settings first of all.

Secondly, scan for viruses, spyware, etc.

Defrag, clean up disk space via uninstall

If none of this works then maybe upgrade the RAM
