Serial ATA Description

Shielded external SATA [eSATA] data cable runs out to a maximum of between 3 feet and 6 feet. eSATA cables are used external to the chassis or case.

does anyone has this kind of HDD? is it worht the money?

i run multiple sata drives and some ata 133 drives. I find when xferring data from sata => sata it is very quick, otherwise xferring from ide to sata or vise versa is still the same.

For the money, you might as well purchase sata providing your motherboard supports them.
