I've been looking for a local services script like thumbtack for a while now and have come across a (probably the only) script which I have been using for a few days.
Have you guys used OzLancer (demo.ozlancer.com) ?
I'm keen on upgrading to a Gold license for enhanced suport - from what I hear and have experience so far, their support is phenomenal.

Would love to hear your thoughts on them if you have used their demo or purchased the script.
