because of time reasons, i have to get rid of all my sites. One of them is funnypics.cc

It is much more than a picture rating site with currently more than 1,500 funpics.

The domain gets about 1,000 - 1,500 unique visitors a day and is extremely well listed in searchengines, which means that almost all the visitors (like 80-90%) get to the site automatically, without advertising.

Archive.org has a backlog until march 2004, Google displays 791,000 hits for "funny pics", 220,000 for "funnypics" and 129,000 for "funpics".

The developed site does not only contain ratings and toplists for pictures, but also the addition of funlinks, song lyrics with submittal function for the users, a very good search engine-linked category for flash movies and games and a trash pics section for pics that dont belong into the main index.

Bridgepages for searchengines are created automatically for every picture you submit and fed to the google sitemap, which is read by googlebot once every day.

The page is programmed in dual language, english and german.

The project has generated over 34 million pageviews since the start in 2004, every picture has 3,400 ratings in average.

Google analytics stats are available since beginning of 2007.
