100$- Laptop

The following thread could be off topic, but i will write it:
a view days ago a friend of mine send me an email about a "100$- Laptop- Project". People from "West" can buy a Linux-based Laptop with 500MHz Processor, 128mb RAM...
...but you must pay 300$.
So you buy 3 of them and 2 Laptops will go to children in pour country´s.
To produce that really "cheep" Laptops they need now less than 100.000 people who will sign up to spent 300$ for that Laptop.
