What's a fair price for a text link?

Hi all,

I am thinking I may start selling sitewide footer text links on my site. It receives 400-700 uniques per day and has a homepage pr of 5 and most all inner pages are of a pr4 minimum. I came accross this site and recommends $65 does that seem right? I was thinking $10-$20 per month. - WMF could charge $79 but they only ask $20?

What is the going rate?

Considering that your homepage is PR5 and sitewide is PR4 (more or less), I would think under $10 would be appropriate.

$10-20 a month, I would say. Start low first- see how much interest you get. If you get an overwelming response then slowly start raising the price.

Well, for a footer link I'd charge around $5, maybe more or less depending on how many outgoing links you have, subpages, age of the site, ad saturation, etc.

For a header link I'd do $8-10 and limit it to around 5, I have a few similar sites traffic and PR wise and that's about what I target, everyone seems happy with it.

Yeah it seems to price things high - one of my high traffic sites says $36, another lower one is 10 and I think I'd charge like 10, and 2 respectively. But it doesn't say if it's for a month, year, what?
