The base concept falls this way, for the example we will only do 5 sites cross linked but keep in mind this is scalable with various different loop points, however this is the most simple and effective for 5 sites.
You must have either dedicated IPS for each site or separate “c” blocks per site.
5 Groups:
A Group
B Group
C Group
D Group
E Group
“A” group is you main sites, for example if you have a website with many aff banners on it
And want to promote that site; this is the group it has to be in. Group A of main sites will not point to any other sites or groups.
Group B , Group C, Group D , Group E will all have links pointing to Group A
(Once again we use groups because you could have 10 site or more per group)
Now on the reverse:
Group B points links to Group C, Group C points links to Group D and Group D points to Group E.
Notice how group B does not point directly to Group D nor does Group C point directly to Group E
That is due to cross linking Spam, filters recognized by google. Google also has over 60 touch points the crawler is looking for, some are on page factors but allot of them are off page factors, what we are building here is an authority site(s) , a hub, which is all in Group A
Since the system is scalable you can continue to add groups such as F, G, and H etc….to increase your loop point, that is another key factor. As I stated, this is the most straight forward cross linking structure that works perfectly, now, when you move into having say 20 sites and up with 2 subs on each for a total of 60 sites, that becomes a little more trick and you will utilize the other cross linking structures.
However for now 5 sites is great to get going with and will help reduce the problem areas of Spam cross linking that will set flags off to Google.
I hope that aids in your reading, once again just IM me on MSN for other questions related to larger setups
Cheers
