I use AVG for free right now...but many on the board love Kaspersky.
Hard to switch when something free is doing the work.

Yeah AVG is good anti-virus kaspersky is best among paid anti viruses.

Kaspersky did very well in rootkit detection: It managed to detect, block, and remove all ten stealth malware samples that we threw at it. It also de**tected and disabled all ten test infections, and proved more successful than other applications.

Still now, I have been used AVG anti virus, avast and other anti-virus too. But did not use Kaspersky Anti-Virus. As you mentioned its characteristics so now I will use it.

I thinks This is a old news so now it updates in 2011 , here is a new version of kaspersky of 2011 it provides more effective detection and Improves your PC's performance That you download from here also !!
