thats right, google dont give much importance,but remember that google dispalys your title tags in their search results and still put some points to it..
MSN by the way put a great emphasis in your meta tags .. if you optimize well your meta tags you can ranked well in msn in just 2-3 weeks..
I know yahoo too gives importance to meta tags..
