If these robots are windows run there won't be much to panic about. They'll freeze as they walk down the street and you'll need to reboot them to get them to work again. Hackers will be infiltrating them, just send them an email with a virus and that should put a stop to it.
And even if they did beat us, just before they destroyed us for good they'd release a never version with 5 times the processing power and all the old ones would be obsolete and returned to the factory...
