I thought I'd start a thread on recommended hosts...tell us what hosts you've used and why you like them.
My only experience with a host was
www.asmallorange.com hosting, and to be honest, they have just about everything I'd look for in a hosting company. The biggest thing that's good about them has got to be their support - it's truly fantastic. They team is strong and doesn't get impatient if your a beginner. And best yet, they reply in a timly manor - often in a few minutes or less.
Their only "con" that I can think of at this point is that sometimes their server gets too busy, unless you have a dedicated server.
But overall I would truly recommend them.
