I'm taking a look at Arachnophilia right now, and it appears to be an "okay" little *free* editor, but I don't see a preview screen without having to open a browser to see it. Along with a few other bells & whistles, it doesn't even come close to competing with with the features of Dreamweaver, but then, Dreamweaver is a $400 application. You can get the job done with just about any of these free editors, what you're paying for when you get something like Dreamweaver is the ability to do things a little easier, and a little faster. I guess it all depends on your level of patience.
