Default Re: Alternative to torrents

I just want to say, after researching torrents, trying them, getting a static ip address which cost's extra, getting a privacy provider, torrent software and just the very nature how they work, I am really thinking... do I need all this crap, so many steps, just to get a movie or mp3? With the availability of netflix instant watch, services for a fee where you can download the movies all in one piece, and with the new vga to tv adapters you can watch a movie, or look at pics on the tv. The only use for cd or dvd media now is for backup not actual playing of the movie. Granted all these extras cost money, but when all is said and done, they total the cost of 2 or 3 trips to the movies. Which is exspensive, unless you just like the night out. So torrents, I am still pondering, it just seems like a lot of crap to wade through to get files. Guess I just want it easy, cheap and quick. LOL I feel like a movie ho.
