to stay on topic, use Driver Genius to install your drivers. It has a central database of the latest drivers of all kinds of hardwares and where they can be downloaded from.. it has the ability to detect the current versions of the drivers you have installed and it will compare them with the ones listed in the database, if it is out of date it will ask you to install it. Driver Genius can download the latest drivers for you but won't install them but that's easy as all other installations. And it works for other operating systems too, not only vista
