You say you aren't allowed to use cloaking on webpages, are there multiple types of cloaking?

Say if I couldn't be bothered paying for hosting for my new website idea and just bought a domain name with a redirector, if I enable cloaking on that redirector so that you only ever see the address you typed in and not the ugly hosting address (I've stored it in a folder on another host I'm using) is that considered bad by the search engines?
